OrbitalMonkeys is a design studio that began in Portland, Oregon in 2001 as a collaboration between two soulmates with strong vision for beauty and an urge to support community gatherings through art.

The studio creates graphic design art and pioneered spaceshaping installations with tensile fabrics- in fact, OM coined the term spaceshaping. Our work is motivated by the recognition that harmony is the expression of love in life and the antidote for tension. Seeking harmonization of tension becomes a process of connecting seemingly disparate ideas. In this journey we learn that through connections we build enduring peace and community.
